The People vs Hollywood & the Mainstream media

Congratulations to Donald Trump on his election as the 47th President of the United States. I actually thought he ran the most brilliant of his three presidential campaigns and in the last few months, attracted a team of iconoclastic, energetic, visionary, geniuses including Robert F. Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, J.D Vance, Vivek Ramaswamy, Nicole Shanahan etc to campaign with him, & be a part of his cabinet.

On the contrary, I thought the Democratic campaign made several key mistakes and missed a lot of opportunities.

However, the most significant thing I’m tracking about this election result is not between  the two candidates. it’s about something much, larger, and much more seismic.

The question is how could Trump possibly win?

The entire establishment, the mainstream media, all the big cable news outlets (except for one), the biggest newspapers, all the three letter federal agencies (who kill squirrels for no reason), the entire Hollywood celebrity industry, the full pop music industry, the entire University system, the families of all the recent presidents and vice presidents  (Cheneys, Bushs, Obamas, Bidens, Pences) have all uniformly come out strongly supporting one candidate in a way that’s seems unprecedented in American history.

Not only that, but they’ve all also spent years now, telling everyone that the other candidate is a fascist monster, comparable to Hitler,  and if he wins it will be the end of democracy, and the end of America.

Not only that, they’ve spent years telling everyone daily that he’s racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic etc.

Yet, last night, in his third time running, he had the most diversity in his  coalition of support he’s ever had, and, by some miracle, amidst all this, Trump still won!

What  does it mean?

It means many things.

However, here’s one of the biggest things it means. It means that these people, in these institutions, are now so despised, and so distrusted by the American people, that, amazingly, the overt support of all the Hollywood celebrities, pop icons, and mainstream media pundits, has become not just unhelpful, but actually harmful to a political candidate!

It means that people in these institutions are now seen as so inauthentic, loathesome, repulsive, corrupt, and degenerate, that the winning strategy has actually now proven to be that the best way to gain the support of the majority of the American people is to be not the one who is supported by them, but actually the one who is detested  by them.
